Environmental Commission advances fall event planning

NJ HOPE — Environmental Commission plans September Picnic, rain garden signage, and Swayze Mill Park maintenance. The four attending commission members unanimously approved its June minutes and discussed upcoming fall initiatives in Tuesday's meeting. The September 26 Township Picnic will feature a scavenger hunt, ANJEC interactive game, leaf lettuce seed starter craft, and potentially a macroinvertebrate activity, with Sarah Hare acquiring an ANJEC game.
The commission will also complete rain garden identification signage at Hope School and continue native plant and tree planting projects at Swayze Mill Park before the fall season.
