NJ HOPE — Hope Environmental Commission plans spring environmental events with grant pursuit. The six-member Environmental Commission and two Green Team representatives unanimously approved prior meeting minutes (6-0) and advanced planning for multiple spring initiatives, including an April 26 "Go Green with Hope" community event featuring workshops and environmental education booths. Phyllis Strohmeyer is leading a $1,500 ANJEC open space grant proposal with an April 13 deadline to add native plants and educational signage at Swayze Mill Park.

The commission also tasked members with investigating state vehicle-replacement grants and advancing watershed ambassador activities including stream monitoring training on Beaver Brook.
